Quite easily one of the most amazing projects I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on.
The Copper Salmon, a Singleton whisky inspired pop-up restaurant and situated exclusively at, The Sheds, 1 Fox Street, Johannesburg, recently underwent a rebranding through a new collaboration between renowned celebrity Chef, Lesego Semenya and dynamic local creative Negritude.
The concept behind The Copper Salmon is to give a whisky pairing experience out of the ordinary and educate people on the diverse ways of enjoying The Singleton through infusions in food menu curated by guest chefs or specially crafted cocktails by the 2015 Worldclass bartender of the year Dom De Lorenzo.
The current Copper Salmon menu will run until end March 2016, comprising of slow cooked oxtail, Seared rabbit and chicken liver & basil leaf Puree encrusted in biltong, to name a few of the treats you’ll experience. Bookings can be made whilst at the venue, where seating schedules are provided. For just R150, you will be treated to delightful culinary surprises.
